Mljet to Korcula

How to get from Mljet to Korcula & Korcula to Mljet?

If you are a foot passenger, there is a fast ferry catamaran that departs daily to/from Mljet (Pomena port) from/to Korcula town (port). This is the most convenient way to travel between these two islands. If you are driving and need a car ferry, there are no direct car ferries between these two islands. You have to cross to the Peljesac Peninsula (the mainland), drive along the peninsula, and cross to Korcula island by another car ferry.

By Private Boat Transfer (Water Taxi)

A private boat transfer (water taxi) is the quickest way to travel between these islands. The cost is 500 Euro for groups of up to 7 people. It can be a great option if the weather is perfect and money is no problem. It is also a good option for a large(er) group of travelers. However, due to unpredictable weather, especially in the winter months, private car transfers are more reliable.

By Taxi or Private Car Transfer

taxi ride between Mljet island and Korcula lasts about 2 hours. The current price quoted to me is 200 Euro. This is a good option if 3 or more people travel together and share the costs. You can lower the costs to 100 Euro by taking a taxi from Prapratno to Orebic only and crossing both channels as a foot passenger by car ferries. Order your taxi ride from the Ston taxi station (link).
